Angela shows up for the people. She does the work and she does it with pride and transparency. She knows union processes inside and out and a willingness to teach anyone who is willing to learn.

I endorse Angela Adzima as our HEA president. She has showed unwavering support on protecting our students and community members against ice activity. Her dedication to technology integration in the classrooms has been consistent, innovative and integral to the development of our 21st-century students.

This is my fourth year in HSD, and from the very first moment I was welcomed by the union at new-hire orientation, Angela stood out. She was the first person to come say hello. Welcoming, smiling, and genuinely excited to have me in HSD.

Angela’s commitment to supporting all students is at the core of who she is. She leads with a racial equity lens and an LGBTQIA+ lens, and her belief that every student deserves to feel valued extends directly to how she supports teachers. She understands that when educators are supported, students succeed. That’s the magic of teaching, and that’s the kind of leadership Angela brings.
